​Fascinator Hat Making Workshop

Projects: Making a special occasion fascinator hat!

This is a hat making workshop for beginners millinery students or anyone interested to learn hat making. Students will work on basic skills such as planning design layout, making hat trimmings by using basic hand sewing techniques, and assembling and sewing trimmings for a finished fascinator hat.

 

Workshop sessions are per person. (Making a special occasion fascinator hat)

Project: Making a rose hat!

Session 1: Date: June 20th, 2026

Session 2: Date: June 27th, 2026

Time: 1pm-4pm, 2026

This is a hat, trim making workshop for beginners. Members will learn to create handmade roses made from fabric. You can re-trim one of your own favorite hat or make a headband trimmed  with handmade roses. The rose has been the national floral emblem of the United States since November 20th, 1986. Join the celebration and create rose flowers to trim your favorite hat or make a headband trimmed with handmade rose flowers.

Workshop sessions time durations: 1-1/2 hour - 3

Each student will receive one hat kit to be completed during the workshop session. An on-site instructor will be provided
